Since its' birth in 1936 the Bermagui Big Game Anglers Club has become a proud and traditional game fishing club. Certainly we can boast the mantle of being the best Striped Marlin Fishery in Australia, and if not in size of fish, then certainly in numbers, the best fishery in the world.
Nhulunbuy Regional Sports Fishing Club
The Nhulunbuy Regional Sports Fishing Club was originally established to promote and support sports fishing, the recreational pastime of chasing big game fish on light line tackle, in and around the East Arnhem Region.

Perth Game Fishing Club
PGFC holds three major tournaments each year. The WA Open is held partially concurrent with Opening Weekend in February, the Marlin Cup in early May and the Mackerel Islands Tournament, whichin late August - early September at Thevenard Island off the coast near Onslow.

The recognized Billfish grounds start just 8 miles from the harbour to the famous "18-mile" grounds where Sailfish and Juvenile Black Marlin congregate on the bait schools that inhabit the area for most of the year.
