The rod bucket has been specially designed so that the angler can easily place the rod into the bucket without having to use those old lacker bands. The rod bucket operates on nylon fiction washers and spacers that are easily tighten by the two knobs on the side.
Set the rod bucket in the vertical position before seating your rods. When it's time to tackle that big one, simply place the rod into the bucket, and the action of the rods movement releases the bucket spacer's tension to allow you the full swing on the bucket.
